Flower Pot Redux

Longtime readers might remember the adventures of the blue "flower pot" toilet I've mentioned several times. Well, after it cracked, things went downhill. It ended up falling over / getting knocked over, it broke into several pieces, and eventually someone cleaned it up and hauled it away.

And now, as you can see from this photo, it's back! That is, it's been replaced, this time by a pinkish-tan colored toilet.

Who does this?

Long time readers of this blog might recall the "flower pot" pictures I posted last year (it's a toilet in someone's front lawn, with fake flowers in the bowl).

Well, the people who live in the flower pot toilet house periodically drag out this sign to the edge of the road. I have lots of questions, but I haven't called the number yet.

It's a hand painted sign. It must have taken quite a long time to make. I'm not quite sure if the sign's author was inadvertently on the receiving end of stolen property, or had some property stolen and sold by the thief, or what...

Like I said, I have questions. Not sure I want to call the number tho...

A Cracked Pot

I'd previously posted a shot of this funny flower pot... and am sad to report that it recently broke.

My theory - water collected in the basin, then froze and expanded, cracking the bowl. I think that's the best explanation for how the bowl could be broken but the seat is intact. Interestingly, nobody has cleaned up the pieces (it's been broken for a while now)...
